Nym Wales

Helen Foster Snow, writing as Nym Wales, was an American journalist who reported from China in the 1930s on its burgeoning revolution and the Korean independence movement. Though not a Party member, she was sympathetic to the revolutionaries, favorably comparing them to the Nationalists. Her dispatches were seen as advocating for Mao's revolution, leading critics to group her with those responsible for the "the loss of China."
