Jackie Carreira Books

Jackie Carreira is a writer, designer, musician, and co-founder of QuirkHouse Theatre Company. British-born of Portuguese parents, she spent her formative years in East London and also lived in Lisbon as a child. After a decade of globetrotting as a musician, she transitioned from her bass guitar to the written word. Her creative journey has since been marked by her dedication to writing, leading her to twice win the Kenneth Branagh Award for New Drama. If Jackie were to pursue an alternate life, she envisions herself as a philosopher, paid to spend her days exploring profound questions.
