And on finding love, Chris s Mom offers The best love is when you can learn to love yourself as much as your shoe collection . Warm and fuzzy? Not so much. Hidden beneath the big eyes and innocent-looking faces often lurks a pug who has waddled to the wrong side of the tracks. Petty theft, bribery, fraud, vandalism, even lewd and lascivious behaviour are well documented in the mug shots of these pugs caught in the act of their pernicious crimes.

    • Two women are involved in a "fender-bender." After they exchange information, the sketch progresses to their conversations over the ensuing days, and we learn that one woman has fallen on hard times and trying to avoid her responsibility to the other woman she hit. She has no insurance, and can't afford to pay for the repairs the first woman needs. The offended woman is anxious for recompense, and threatens to involve the police. She softens however when she comes across Jesus' words to go the second mile and love your enemies. As a result, she sends a letter to the woman who hit her, and forgives the debt-and encloses a check so the struggling woman can get proper insurance.Topics: FORGIVENESS, LOVE YOUR ENEMIES, GROWING IN CHRIST LIKENESSCharacters: 2 FEMALESParticipants: 2Author: Donna Lagerquist

      Truthful Words
    • As a family gathers for dessert after the traditional Thanksgiving day meal, Sarah tries to engage her husband, mother-in-law, brother, two brothers-in-law, and daughter in meaningful discussion. Although her husband, Warren is trying to be supportive, the conversation keeps moving toward the superficial. When she initiates a planned conversation activity involving describing something for which they're thankful or which was hard during the past year, she is met with awkward silence, and then off-target remarks that spoil the moment. In the end, family members go their separate way, missing yet again an opportunity for true closeness.

      Talking Turkey
    • A mysterious man shows up at Jeff and Karen Lowery's house with an interesting proposition. He will give them 100 million dollars if they simply press a little button on a box he gives them. The catch is that someone they've never met-a complete stranger-will die. After he leaves, the couple discusses what to do. At first, the whole thing seems preposterous. But gradually, they are pulled in by the possibility, however remote, that it might actually work. It is difficult to rationalize someone dying, but knowing it will be a complete stranger and knowing they could do so much good with the money entices them to push the button. The man immediately returns and gives them their money just as he promised. When he leaves and takes the box with him, they ask what he's going to do with it. He says what he does every day: give it to someone else who wants an easy 100 million dollars.Topics: GREED, VALUING PEOPLE OVER THINGSCharacters: 2 MALES, 1 FEMALEParticipants: 3Author: Judson Poling
