The door latch clicks and someone enters. A medium-height, broad-chested, blonde, blue-eyed person. I have sketched a rough portrait of him. And at that moment, everyone exclaims, "Look, one of those who escaped by pretending to be Turkish." This shy Anatolian person blushes, sits in a corner, and falls silent. Before long, after a bit of uzo and conversation, he warms up and begins his story; like others, he is a Turkophone and a storyteller, placing the elephants at the end of the sentence. His style reminded me of the language of the Old Testament.
