The idea for this book came to me one hot sunny day in July 2020, the first summer of 'lockdown'. Interestingly, the title appeared quite suddenly in my mind, as if it had just been waiting for me to recognise it! It is a tribute to the wonderful pets who enriched our family's life for so long.
