Miners, Milkers & Merchants is the biography of a Swiss-Italian family whose lives were changed by immigration. It tells the story, based on their letters, of three brothers who leave family, friends, and all they know and love in their secluded village high in the Swiss-Italian Alps to find fortune in 19th-century Australia and California.
