Anitha Devi Pillai is an author, academic, translator, and poet who deeply believes in the synergy between teaching and writing. As an educator at the National Institute of Education in Singapore, she champions the idea that writing instructors must also be active readers and writers themselves. Her literary output spans poetry and short stories, featured in various anthologies and journals, showcasing her engagement with diverse narrative forms. Her recent work includes translating a historical Tamil novel into English and her ongoing project of a short story collection, highlighting her multifaceted contribution to literature.
