Raised amidst the forests of upstate New York, this author's childhood was split between devouring tales of fantasy and enacting them through live-action roleplaying. After studying cartooning and illustration, her artistic focus coalesced around compelling women in fiction, the realms of science fiction and fantasy, superheroes, and history. She co-creates a popular webcomic celebrated for its strong female protagonists, further exploring these themes in her upcoming graphic novel.
