Sren Kierkegaard Book order (chronological)
Danish philosopher and theologian Søren Kierkegaard was a prominent critic of the Hegelianism and empty formalities of his time's Church of Denmark. Much of his work engages with religious themes, exploring faith in God, Christian ethics and theology, and the individual's emotions when facing life's choices. Kierkegaard often employed pseudonyms, each presenting a distinct viewpoint, and intentionally made the path to understanding his works difficult to inspire readers' deeper contemplation. His ideas, spanning philosophy, theology, psychology, and literature, continue to influence contemporary thought.
