Focusing on the civil war in Sri Lanka, this study presents an intersectional and de-ethnicised perspective on political sovereignty, emphasizing the complexities of territorial struggles. It explores the multifaceted spatial dimensions of the conflict, highlighting how various factors intersect to shape the dynamics of power and governance during wartime. The analysis aims to provide a deeper understanding of the implications of territoriality in the context of civil strife.
