Set in 2570 BCE in Bagasra Village, Harappa, the story follows twelve-year-old Avani, a spirited girl who enjoys life with her friends. The excitement of a wedding is overshadowed by mysterious events, including a robbery and a fire, leading Avani to suspect a deeper conspiracy. As she overhears a cryptic conversation between two men and learns about a monk from China, she and her friends must use their wits to uncover the truth and protect their village's honor.
