Yanko González Cangas is a poet whose experimental and unorthodox work has focused on the cultural frictions of youth, territorial, racial, and national exclusion. While considered one of the most significant emerging Chilean poets of the 1990s, many of his aesthetic and political approaches diverge from those of his generation. His writing explores the complex interplay of identity and societal marginalization.
