Josephine Caminos Oria

Josephine Caminos Oría was raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, after being born in Argentina. The act of gathering around the table for meals, and the conversations that followed, became her way of understanding the world through stories of her heritage. These tales nurtured her imagination and sense of self, inspiring her to embark on a second act in her career. In her early forties, with five children, she left a C-level position to focus on Argentine food and culture, particularly the creation of dulce de leche. Today, Josephine is the co-founder of La Dorita Cooks, specializing in natural dulce de leche products, and operates a kitchen incubator for food entrepreneurs. She is also the author of a cookbook that blends recipes with personal food-memoir.
