Friedrich Reck-Malleczewen

Friedrich Percival Reck-Malleczewen was a German author whose early writing included children's adventure stories. Throughout the 1920s and 1930s, he was a prolific novelist, with many of his works being adapted for film. While many of his books were banned by the Nazis, other works only saw publication years after his death. Today, his most recognized contribution is his journal chronicling life under Nazi rule, a regime he vehemently opposed.
