His academic pursuits led to degrees in Wildlife and Fisheries Science and Biology, where he developed a keen eye for detail and a personal research methodology. This detail-oriented approach, honed through years of documenting wildlife, landscapes, and technology, evolved into a passion for historical research. Collaborating with a long-time kindred spirit, he delved into the rich history of Atlanta's brewing scene, tracing its evolution from colonial times to the contemporary craft beer movement.
