Focusing on groundwater quality, this study evaluates the impact of the F'kirina gas turbine power plant on local water sources. Analysis of samples from boreholes and wells reveals significant pollution, particularly in conductivity, total hardness, and concentrations of nitrates, sodium, and sulfate. The findings suggest that agricultural activity and the nearby power plant contribute to this contamination. Ongoing monitoring and potential treatment are recommended to address water quality issues and mitigate health risks for human consumption.
