Francis L. Hawks Books
Francis Lister Hawks was an American priest and a politician in North Carolina. He was also active in the church, becoming a priest of the Episcopal Church. Hawks earned a law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1815 and later became a member of the North Carolina House of Commons in 1821. He sometimes wrote under the pseudonyms Lambert Lilly and Uncle Philip.
