Fiona Brand has always harbored a passion for writing, transitioning from her eight-year tenure as a clerk in the New Zealand Forest Service to pursue her literary ambitions. Fortunately, it took her only five years to publish her first award-winning novel, demonstrating an early success in her writing career. Her works are characterized by distinctive elements within their genre, offering readers unique narrative experiences. Brand currently resides in the subtropical paradise of the Bay of Islands with her two sons.
