Bruce Manning Metzger was an American biblical scholar and textual critic, known for his extensive work as a professor at Princeton Theological Seminary. He served as a Bible editor and contributed to major Bible societies, dedicating his career to the study of Greek, the New Testament, and its textual criticism.
