Five days after a successful robbery in Burnt Timbers, Montana, the Buck Streeter gang, having stolen $28,000, is hiding in an abandoned shack above Brigham, Wyoming. With the bank and express office conveniently located across from each other and no telegraph communication, Brigham appears to be the ideal location for their next heist. However, gang leader Buck Streeter is concerned about Frank Reno, their oldest member, who suffers from consumption, causing sleepless nights for the group in the harsh, cold environment. Despite their confidence, the gang is unaware of an impending snowstorm and the relentless pursuit of US Marshal John Galloway. After eighteen years of law enforcement, Galloway is weary but undeterred, determined to end the gang's reign of terror across the West. Following orders from the Denver office and armed with knowledge about the gang, Galloway tracks them from Burnt Timbers to Brigham, convinced that the town will be their next target. As the storm approaches, the tension builds, raising the stakes for both the gang and the marshal, leading to an inevitable confrontation.
