Chopsticks and Chocolate Chips: Good Food, Healthy Living
    • Make no mistake! Chinese-improv-sandwiches made from left-overs from the night before required unique skills, even though it only called for three simple steps. But from the day I made my first one, I was determined (at a very young age) to learn about food, and how to make it taste great. I hope that, through this book, you can see it is possible to incorporate health and nutrition into your practical life. Yes, it can be done! "Right" can be fun, and that healthy food can be truly tasty! It's a matter of learning from those who have already done the research and hard work, so you don't have to! I have experimented with countless combinations of food for decades and created some truly scrumptious and delightfully delicious meals that are not only satisfying to the palate and the tummy, but they make people feel good and live well too. "You are what you eat!" Manna began her career as an entrepreneur in the 1980s in Canada, and within a short time her work became nationally recognized. In the late 1990s, she and her son moved to the United States, where she used her gifts and expertise to help others in the marketplace by providing progressive marketing concepts, personal and professional leadership consulting, and strategic partnerships to other small and large businesses around the country. An overcomer of early-in-life trials, Manna conquered her challenges and earned an MA in Psychology, a PhD in Philosophy, and graduate certificates as a Certified Clinical Nutritionist (CCN) and a Certified Clinical Herbalist (CCH). Upon completion of her studies, she opened up her own wellness center to help others.
