Charles Kay Ogden

Charles Kay Ogden was an English linguist, philosopher, and writer. Described as a polymath, he was also an eccentric outsider involved in numerous ventures across literature, politics, and the arts. Ogden significantly impacted these fields, particularly as an editor, translator, and advocate for a reformed English language. He is primarily remembered as a linguistic psychologist and the inventor and proponent of Basic English.
