In der vorliegenden Arbeit werden zwei Problemkreise behandelt: zum einen die Effektivierung der technomotorischen Leistungskomponente mit der Konstruktion eines biomechanischen Modells des Sprintlaufs und der Optimierung der Sprinttechnik mit Hilfe der Modellsimulation; zum anderen wird die Effektivierung der konditionellen Leistungskomponente untersucht anhand einer Analyse der bewegungsstrukturellen Affinität zwischen konditionellen Sprintübungen und der Zielübung «Sprintlauf». Daraus werden abschließend trainingspraktische Folgerungen zur Gestaltung der konditionellen Sprintübungen gezogen.
