Work-based learning in tertiary education has gained prominence, with various models emerging across Europe. A BIBB research project explored practices in England, France, Ireland, Norway, Austria, and Poland, highlighting diverse practice-oriented programs. Through interviews with stakeholders, including researchers, policymakers, students, and educational institutions, the publication offers insights into their experiences and evaluations of these educational initiatives. It aims to enhance the visibility of vocational education at the tertiary level and stimulate critical discussions on the trend of academisation.
