Over the past years, a lively cooperation has been developed between Catholic and Protestant Missiologists, who have experienced ecumenical discourse as a significant theological enrichment. In a series of ecumenical missiological conferences under the title "Towards an Ecumenical Missiology" theologians from all over the world approach theological topics from their specific regional, and denominational perspectives.
