Ruth

Ruth, a young orphan working in a sweatshop, faces a precarious situation after befriending the charming yet disreputable Henry Bellingham at a ball. Their association leads to rumors that tarnish her reputation, resulting in her dismissal from the sweatshop. With no options left, Ruth follows Henry to London, only to be abandoned and left pregnant in Wales. Struggling with despair, she finds support from the kind Benson family, which allows her to reinvent herself.
