Most people think of science fiction as a feature of the modern world, but some of the best science fiction stories were written more than a hundred years ago, by the French writer, Jules Verne. Many things that he wrote about have since come true: his stories 'Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea' and 'Around the World in Eighty Days' are now more fact than fiction.
