Shumaiya is a British contemporary artist, writer, and creative director. Her abstract expressionist pieces are often paired with poetry or prose, found on the backs of many canvases. Her work aims to explore philosophy, spirituality, relationships - yin & yang, and juxtapositions around emotive behaviours. Shumaiya currently resides in Peckham, South London. She buys far too many plants.
