U podstaw lingwistyki relacja, analogia, partycypacja

More about the book

The book attempts to diagnose the foundation of linguistic cognition, a necessary endeavor given the numerous aporias in linguistics. An inductive method is employed, summarized as a journey from unity to analogical unity, beginning with the relational nature of being. This relationality shapes the internal structure of individuals and the connections they form within communities. The relational structure of all being is analogical, leading to the concept of analogy of being (analogia entis), which influences both linguistic cognition and linguistics as a discipline. This analogy implies transcendental relations concerning both the community of individuals and the internal structure of each individual. Since both individuals and communities are real, the transcendental relations that constitute them must be grounded in a substantial reality rather than a material one. Therefore, when linguists infer about a community, its language, or the communicative behaviors of its members, they rely on these real transcendental relations. Consequently, when making inferences about categories like similarity, participation is inevitable.
