Little Fatty speaks with her eyes and she has a lot to say. She wants desperately to be a German Shepherd but sadly, she looks more like a hedgehog. This is the true story of her journey from tiny pup in Spain, near death in a kill shelter and across the English Channel to find a new home. Here she finds love and friendship and confusingly, what seems to be a whole new world with a language and customs she struggles to understand. This is a book about wanting to belong and finding a forever home in a harsh world. It is also a humorous, illustrated and occasionally poetic account of Little Fatty's escapades in and around Dartmoor and the town of Tavistock in Devon.
