Evening in the hospital, a fateful meeting. Eight-year-old Rachel and Andy accidentally bump into each other in the corridor. The girl has a congenital heart defect and is already used to these wards, but the boy is confused because he is alone in the hospital, without his parents, with a broken arm. They are not hoped to see each other again. They are completely different: she grew up in a comfortable, wealthy family, and he was raised by a poor single mother.
