Exploring the intersections of Afro-Cuban rituals and Western scientific practices, the author challenges conventional understandings of knowledge production. Through comparative investigations, he examines connections between organ transplants and ngangas, as well as the convergence of genomics with divination. By analyzing how Black Cubans utilized technology to project spiritual voices, he critiques the "ontological turn" in anthropology, advocating for radical comparisons to enrich ethnographic studies. This work seeks to reveal the underlying logics that unite enchantment and experiment.
