A photographic portrait of Ducati's first motorbike designed for off-roading This photobook illustrates the development of the DesertX project, the first Ducati motorcycle specifically designed for off-roading. Known as "the Ferrari of the motorcycle world," Ducati has developed a reputation for being the choice manufacturer of professional racers, fusing state-of-the-art engineering with sophisticated design. Equipped with a 21-inch front wheel and 18-inch rear wheel, as well as long-stroke suspension, six riding modes and generous ground clearance (10 inches), the new model can withstand all types of trails and asphalt. Taking design inspiration from the history of the African Rally, the DesertX's team decided to shoot the bike in the sub-Saharan desert. The resulting images are compiled in the volume, along with explanatory texts from the design and engineer developers, and world-champion rider Antoine Méo.
