Mapping a New Museum rethinks the role of museums in today's politically aware landscape by showcasing innovative projects from Latin America over the past year. Supported by The Santo Domingo Centre of Excellence for Latin American Research at the British Museum, these initiatives aim to make the museum's Latin American collections relevant to local and global communities. The featured projects highlight how communities engage with cultural heritage and suggest that a singular counter-narrative for "decolonising" museums is insufficient.
