Author Kristine Baller was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas and began writing short stories at a very early age. As a single mother, she studied at community college at night while working full-time during the day. Majoring in both History and English, before finding her way onto a creative writing course. It would be there through one of her short stories she would be given the encouragement to pursue the passion she always held for writing, and that short story would turn into her first novel, The Holland Diaries. The Holland Diaries is a dark and mysterious tale, taking the reader from the peace and quiet of St George's Chapel, in the grounds of Windsor Castle, England to the bustle of New York City where a horrific murder sets the ageless and magical Ava on a journey in pursuit of the truth.
