Two mischievous sisters embark on delightful adventures in increasingly fantastical and comical situations. But it's too late for warnings; the wind is already in the sisters' hearts, and Major Palfrey has every reason to worry about his daughters at home. Dinah and Dorinda cannot help but be naughty, and their knack for getting into trouble grows when they discover they have magical powers. However, they soon learn that their father has been captured in a hostile land. Will magic help Dinah and Dorinda rescue him?
