This resulted in the abduction of the prince and the return of Mpeki's sister, rescued by missionaries. The prince was enslaved in Portugal, inciting a furious response from his father and sparking a two-decade war. Following the global abolition of slavery, the prince returned with Mpeki and the missionaries who aided her. Upon his arrival, his father ordered him to abandon Mpeki, believing she was cursed. However, she was not cursed; her sacrifices ultimately led to the unification of both tribes under their joint rule in the new kingdom of Watetu and Songaland, symbolizing peace, justice, and harmony. The story concludes with a grand marriage celebration between the tribes, marking the end of FGM.
