All chapters have been written by significant practitioners of drama in education and attempt to locate the growing understanding of the educational drama process in the real world of schooling. Thus the collection sets out to identify and explore the many social, economic and ideological factors which influence the status and development of drama and propose strategies by which the work might be better established.
