Joined by guides Hank and Joseph Défago, they venture deep into the woods, where they encounter a chilling mystery. After a series of unsettling events, including a disturbing apparition of Défago, the group grapples with fear and confusion. The story culminates in a tragic revelation as Défago, suffering from delirium and frostbite, returns to camp, leaving the men haunted by the inexplicable occurrences they've witnessed.
