Paper Arrows

The story follows psychologist Ben Pecos as he embarks on a road trip with his troubled ward, Nathan Yazzi, after the boy's expulsion from school. Their journey leads them to Spearfish, South Dakota, where they become entangled in a local mystery involving the suspicious death of a man initially believed to be a Lakota Sun Dancer. As the sheriff's investigation zeroes in on Ben, secrets unravel, revealing that the deceased was neither Lakota nor a Sun Dancer, complicating the case further and challenging Ben's resolve.
