More about the book
A prolific English writer, Edgar Wallace began his career as a war correspondent before turning to thrillers to alleviate financial struggles. His experiences in South Africa and the Congo inspired many of his works, including the notable "The Four Just Men" and "Sanders of the River." In the later stages of his career, he moved to Hollywood to write scripts, including for the iconic "King Kong." His sudden death in 1932 cut short a remarkable writing journey, during which he became one of England's most published authors.
