Ned Henry, a time traveler, is exhausted from his missions between the 21st century and the 1940s, where he seeks a notorious Victorian vase for the restoration of Coventry Cathedral. His situation worsens when Verity Kindle, another time traveler, accidentally brings back an item from the past. To rectify the chaos and safeguard both their project and the timeline, Ned must journey to the Victorian era to assist Verity in correcting the unintended consequences of her actions.
