Set in the mid-18th century, the story follows young Jim Hawkins, who becomes entangled in a pirate adventure after meeting the mysterious sailor Billy Bones at the Admiral Benbow Inn. Bones warns Jim of a one-legged man and soon after is confronted by former shipmate Black Dog, leading to a violent encounter. Following Bones' death and a deadly attack by the blind beggar Pew, Jim discovers a treasure map in Bones' chest. Joined by Dr. Livesey and Squire Trelawney, Jim embarks on a perilous expedition to find the hidden treasure of the notorious Captain Flint.
