The Intimidators

Set against the backdrop of Navy boot camp during the Vietnam War, the story follows nineteen-year-old Carl Travis, an anti-war activist who enlists to avoid combat. Struggling with the brutal realities of military life, he faces harassment from superiors who threaten him for his past protests at Kent State. As Carl endures harsh disciplinary actions and fights against the dehumanizing environment, he seeks to reclaim his identity, freedom, and dignity amidst the oppressive system.
