The 2020 Tropentag conference faced unprecedented challenges due to the Corona pandemic, which prevented in-person attendance in Prague. In response, ATSAF successfully transitioned the event to a virtual format, utilizing Zoom for meetings and streaming on YouTube, with Whova as the online platform. This annual interdisciplinary conference focuses on development-oriented research in sub-/tropical agriculture, food security, natural resource management, and rural development, showcasing resilience in adapting to new circumstances.
