Tabitha

The story revolves around three elderly ladies who, outraged by their landlady's cruel treatment and the death of their beloved cat, Tabitha, plot to poison her. Under the leadership of the assertive Mrs. Pendergast, they prepare a bottle of whisky laced with poison but later switch it for a harmless one. When the landlady is found dead, suspicions arise, particularly towards Mary, her beloved stepdaughter. As the detectives investigate, the ladies must clear their names while dealing with the aftermath of their misguided intentions and a bit of strong drink.
