Born into an Armenian Christian family in a small Syrian village, Samira Tewfik rose to prominence as a Lebanese singer known for her unique Bedouin dialect performances. Her artistic talents extend beyond music, as she has also acted in several Arab films. Tewfik's roots in Umm Haratayn, a village shaped by Druze migration, and her upbringing in Beirut's Rmeil neighborhood, where her father worked as a dock laborer, contribute to her rich cultural background and artistic identity.
