The author, born in Morocco and later settling in Israel, began writing poetry at a young age and has since published extensively in multiple languages, including English, Hebrew, and Spanish. His literary career includes involvement in vanguardist movements and editing Marot magazine. With 40 published works and numerous translations, his contributions to poetry have earned him prestigious awards such as the Prime Minister's prize and the Yehuda Amichai poetry prize. His first Hebrew book, "The Immigrant's Lament," debuted in 1994.
