More about the book
Focusing on the therapeutic outcomes of treating cervical lymph node tuberculosis, this study analyzes 50 patients who received a combined regimen of antituberculosis drugs over 6 to 18 months, achieving an 80% compliance rate. While the treatment was effective, it was associated with various adverse events, including digestive disorders and visual complications. A treatment failure rate of 13% was noted, leading to surgical interventions in some cases. Notably, a small number of patients experienced paradoxical reactions, and recurrences were documented post-treatment.
