Focusing on the significant impact of buildings on global energy consumption, this work introduces a framework for integrating Energy Assessment (EA) into Early Architectural Design Stages (EADS). It addresses challenges related to the usability of computational models and the reliability of results. The proposed Framework for Energy Assessment Tools in Early Architectural Design Stages (FORwArDS) and the Relative Validation (RV) methodology aim to enhance EADS by providing architects with effective tools for energy assessment and model simplification, fostering better energy efficiency in design.
